Money has become a problem for me this week.
So tonight I thought I might share a couple of things we’ve discovered so far. There are a heap of links in this post, but nothing’s sponsored here and we’re not receiving any kickbacks. This is just what we’ve found which we thought might be useful or interesting or just because my fingers decided you needed to know.
It’s been suggested by a couple of people I looked a bit nervous on camera today. I was, but not for the reason you’d think…
We were supposed to be out and about on Sydney’s brilliant public transport system looking at all the stuff we missed last time we were here, but instead we’ve spent two days stuck in the caravan park.
And then we were off, with the kids screaming and moaning their encouragements.
I confess I chuckled heartily too, until it occurred to me no-one was asking me to explain the joke. No-one.
We’ve loved our stop here in Canberra, and I thought you might be interested in which particular part of our trip the kids rate number one? It’s not what you might think.
As you can judge from this photo, seeing the sights of Canberra is really exhausting.
“You suck,” Tracey told me this morning. Unfortunately, she wasn’t even saying it to be funny.
Tracey had to work today – she was gone for ten hours. While she was away from the bus the kids made my life hell and put together a wonderful little ‘This Is Your Life’ play for her. Hope all you mothers out there had a lovely day and received loads of love and chocolate. HAPPY MOTHERS DAY!
Not having done much camping, and certainly no motorhoming, we’re basically making up rules as we go. Well, I am…
I confess, we have had an issue or two with catching trains and the like in Sydney.
Sometimes our kids say the most wonderful things. And sometimes…

You never know where life’s going to take you.
Suddenly I realised, instead of showing how little I knew about constellations, I had a chance to impart some of the smarts I’ve picked up on Youtube about stuff I do know about.
